Badminton Research--Directions


Search for information

  • The goal is to find 3 reliable sources.
  • Use the SCRAP Test to determine reliability for all sources (but you only need to complete the online SCRAP Test form for ONE site).
  • For the most part, this will be a web-based search. We have very few books on badminton, but a few topics can be researched in databases (see links and topics below):

Science in Context has some info on technique & physics of badminton, also the Olympics

Global Issues in Context and The New York Times both have info on The Olympics, clothing (use "dress code"), famous players, championships


Submit SCRAP Test (for one source)


Create your poster or presentation

  • Be consice.
  • Take notes in your own words; do not copy directly into your project.
  • If printing images, consolidate them onto 1-3 pages (to save paper).

Cite everything you use (text and images)

  • EasyBib (select "Digital Image" to site your online images)
